ACIM Worbook Lesson 230 teaches us that I will seek and find the peace of God. In peace I was created. It is not given me to change my Self.

Now will I seek and find the peace of God.
1. In peace I was created. ²And in peace do I remain. ³It is not given me to change my Self. ⁴How merciful is God my Father, that when He created me He gave me peace forever. ⁵Now I ask but to be what I am. ⁶And can this be denied me, when it is forever true?
2. Father, I seek the peace You gave as mine in my creation. ²What was given then must be here now, for my creation was apart from time, and still remains beyond all change. ³The peace in which Your Son was born into Your Mind is shining there unchanged. ⁴I am as You created me. ⁵I need but call on You to find the peace You gave. ⁶It is Your Will that gave it to Your Son.
We Were Created Peace and We Remain as We Were Created
Jesus is telling us that we can always be at peace because this is how we were created and we remain as we were created. We had to come up with a thought system that allowed for the possibility of something less than perfect peace, and then we had to imagine an entire world in which to experience lack of peace. Sounds pretty crazy when you think about it. It begs the question, “Why?”
I suppose it was in answer to the passing desire to be special. And it was a passing desire that was answered instantly and all we made was undone. The world we see is all just a memory, an ancient memory we placed before our eyes. Our true desire now is to extricate ourselves and that is why we have A Course in Miracles as well as other non-dual paths. Jesus wants us to know that peace is inevitable because it is creation so why not go ahead and accept it now and end suffering.
From What Is Forgiveness?
²He has forgiven you already, for such is His function, given Him by God. ³Now must you share His function, and forgive whom He has saved, whose sinlessness He sees, and whom He honors as the Son of God.
Thank you, God, this has all been forgiven. It was done in the same instant that it was made and I am eternally grateful that it is so. Now it is my function to join in forgiveness. Everyone is forgiven, no one is excluded. Everyone is part of the Family of God and His Family is forgiven and saved. Could I hold a grievance against someone God honors as His Son? I would be condemning myself since we are all one. May I always remember and embrace my function.
